The success Simonton enjoys today can be traced back to the core beliefs and old-fashioned values that first took root in 1946 in a small town called Pennsboro, West Virginia. The Simonton family recognized the need for high quality products like aluminum windows and doors. Years ahead of their time, early windows like an innovative triple-track storm window, the Thermo Boss and the Energy Capp were embraced by the market. By the early 1980’s, the Simonton family recognized that vinyl was superior to aluminum for windows and doors, and the company headed in a new direction.
Today, Simonton quality continues to be recognized throughout the industry and is evident in the numerous industry awards Simonton receives. Simonton has manufacturing facilities in Pennsboro, Harrisville and Ellenboro, West Virginia, Paris, Illinois and Vacaville, California. Simonton now offers many distinct lines of vinyl retrofit and new construction windows and doors, including ENERGY STAR® compliant products, and even a full line of impact-resistant windows and doors designed for coastal applications.
Each year, J.D. Power conducts a survey to measure customer satisfaction with windows and doors. For a fourth consecutive year, Simonton ranks highest in the J.D.
